Accessibility Statement

Last updated: July 30, 2026

Our Commitment

SolvaraCare is committed to making our website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We strive to meet or exceed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standard, which is the standard for healthcare websites under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.

What WCAG 2.1 AA Means

WCAG 2.1 AA compliance means our website meets the following principles:

  • Perceivable: Content is presented in ways users can perceive, including text alternatives for non-text content and sufficient color contrast.
  • Operable: All functionality is available from a keyboard, with sufficient time to read and use content, and no content that causes seizures.
  • Understandable: Content is readable and understandable, with input assistance to help users avoid and correct mistakes.
  • Robust: Content is compatible with assistive technologies, including screen readers and voice recognition software.

Specific Measures We Take

  • Color contrast ratios meet WCAG 2.1 AA (4.5:1 for normal text)
  • All interactive elements are keyboard accessible
  • Skip-to-main-content link for keyboard and screen reader users
  • Proper ARIA labels and roles on interactive elements
  • Form fields have associated labels and error messages
  • Images have descriptive alt text
  • Heading hierarchy is logical and properly nested
  • Reduced-motion support for users with vestibular disorders
  • Responsive design for all device sizes

Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, we acknowledge that some areas of our website may not yet meet all WCAG 2.1 AA standards. We are actively working to address any gaps. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please let us know so we can fix it.

How We Test

We test our website using automated tools (axe-core, Lighthouse) and manual testing with keyboard navigation and screen readers. For client websites we build, accessibility testing is part of our standard QA process before launch.

We respond to accessibility requests within 2 business days.

Accessibility for Client Websites

As a healthcare SEO provider, accessibility is part of every website we build. We require all client websites to meet WCAG 2.1 AA before launch. We provide ongoing accessibility monitoring as part of our service tiers.

Legal Context

The Department of Justice and HHS have established that healthcare websites are covered under the ADA and Section 504. While WCAG 2.1 AA compliance timelines have shifted, ADA Title III lawsuits continue at a steady pace. We build to the standard regardless of the regulatory timeline - accessibility is both a legal requirement and a patient care issue.
